This yellow colour pen stand masterpiece showcases intricate Worli Art, renowned for its depiction of close to the natural life designs of flora, fauna and celebrations. Women used to paint their walls during the marriage to reflect on happiness and celebrations. The white colour in these hand-painted designs is executed using a bamboo stick chewed at one end to make a supple paint brush. This colour is prepared from a mixture of rice flour and water mixed with gum.
